A country like India with different traditions, cultures, heritage and different styles of living will also have different dishes and tastes of all of which will vary as we move from one place to another. Taste of people changes after a few miles they move.

India has a vast variety of dishes if compared with other countries. A normal meal in India contains different tastes like salt, sweet, bitter, and sour. This country is a land of herbs and species. A few of them are turmeric, ajwain, cloves, cardamoms, ginger, coriander, and many more.

Dressing styles and trends keep changes but the cuisine stays and fused with a new one.

So here are some dishes from different states

Pav Bhaji from Maharashtra :

Pav bhaji is fast food dish popular especially in Maharashtra but also served in the whole of India. It consists of thick vegetable curry served with soft bread and onion and lemon. It is also known as the king of street food.

Makki Di Roti Sarson Da Saag from Punjab :

Makki Di Roti Sarson Da Saag is known to be a signature delicious dish of Punjab. Eating Makki di roti is beneficial in winters. It is good for the skin, brain, hair, and digestion. Not only in Punjab but also cooked all over north India in winters especially at the time of festivals like Lohri.

Dhokla from Gujarat :

Dhokla is a vegetarian culinary dish cooked in Gujarat and the adjacent states of Gujarat. It is made up of Bengal flour and steamed to make it fluffy. This dish is gaining pride and popularity in its state of origin.

It is low calorie, healthy and protein-packed dish. Its yum taste also falls everyone for it. It is generally eaten for breakfast as a snack.

Dal Baati Churma from Rajasthan :

A traditional delicious dish from the state of Rajasthan is known by the name Dal Baati Churma. Nowadays people eat this dish at any time but it is associated with the festival of Makar Sankranti and Diwali. Other than Rajasthan this dish is famous in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Dak baati churma is made up of wheat flour kneaded with salt, yogurt, and salt. It is usually served with dal, Rava ladoo, papad, pudina chutney, garlic chutney, much green salad with lots of onion and buttermilk.

Idli from Tamil Nadu :

Although Tamil Nadu is the origin of Idli it is popular in the whole of south India. People of Tamil Nadu are fond of having Idli and Vada as their breakfast. This food item gets digested easily and is healthy for the body.
