Maharashtra has recently recorded 536 new covid cases and 21 deaths in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra such a big state is continuously reporting covid cases as well as deaths of many patients.
Case of new virus: OMICRON
A 32-year-old man tested positive for the coronavirus after returning from South Africa to thane. He has been kept in isolation at a civic COVID-19 care center.
The sample of the patient sent to a laboratory to test whether this virus is an omicron or coronavirus variant. Omicron is the most transmissible virus nowadays making the condition of human beings worst.
The result of the reports is to known after seven days so we need to wait for it but the most important thing is to again start following the covid-19 protocols. If the report shows that it is omicron then it might become difficult for the state as well as the country to fight against it.
School Guidelines :
Keeping in mind the new cases of coronavirus every day, the government of Maharashtra has decided to continue with physical classes and has released new guidelines for schools reopening from December 1, 2021.Read the guidelines carefully
- The government decided to reopen the schools from December 1, 2021, but it must noted that schools will reopen for classes 1 to 7 in urban areas and classes 1 to 4 for rural areas.
2. Covid-19 protocols must followed the regular sanitization of every class and campus of school must done.
3. All the schools need to read the guidelines properly before preparing for opening schools.

New coronavirus variant omicron has become the topic of worldwide concern. It has been classified as the ‘variant of concern’ and has reported high transmissibility.
Though nothing confirmed yet government may combat some restrictions to stop the spread of new variants in the state which was first detected in the southern part of South Africa.
The chief minister of the state has announced a meeting to discuss the precautions which are needed to be taken to fight against the disease.
