India’s Largest Bank, State Bank of India has increased the Cash Withdrawal Limit from Non-home branches.

To support its customer, the State Bank of India issued a new notification where they explained their new Cash Withdrawal rules. State Bank of India has increased the Cash Withdrawal Limit from non-home branches through cheques and withdrawal forms to support its customer in this Pandemic. The new rules have been implemented with immediate effect.

@TheOfficialSBI Tweeted about their New Cash Withdrawal Limit Rules:

According to the new rules, SBI customers can now withdraw 25,000 Rupees in a day. State Bank of India through their Twitter account informed their customer about the same.

They tweeted,

“To support our customers in this Pandemic, SBI has increased the non-home Cash Withdrawal Limit through Cheque and Withdrawal form.”

With the help of new rules, customers can now withdraw up to Rs 25,000 in a day through their savings account by visiting any bank branch of SBI (except home branch), the limit to withdraw cash through cheque is 1 lakh rupees. The new rules will remain in force till 30th September 2021.

According to the new rules, in order to withdraw Rs 25,000 through withdrawal form at non-home branch of State Bank of India, you will need to carry saving account pass book.

Also if you are sending someone with a cheque to withdraw the cash, the bank will ask the KYC of the person carrying a cheque before handing over the money.
